How We Harvest

A Timber Offer professional will arrive at your property on a predetermined date.  The Timber Offer professional will walk your wood lot to assess the health of your trees. The species of your trees will then be determined, trees that are mature enough to harvest will be counted, trees that are dead or diseased will be noted.  The mature trees will be tallied and marked for harvesting. The dead or diseased trees will be discussed with the home owner during the wood lot assessment. A mature tree will be 20” on average at chest height. The removal of the mature trees, dying trees, and diseased trees will be executed in a manner that will ensure the next generation of hardwood trees will have the best chance of growing as fast and healthy as possible. Once the juvenile hardwood trees are able to receive the additional sunlight once blocked by the taller trees they will be able to double their growth rate on average. This will help you harvest your trees within the next 10 -15 years!
